Physitrack Connect - June 2021

Dear Anna,

My name is Anna, and I'm happy to be writing to you from Helsinki, Finland. I started with Physitrack a couple of months ago, when Physiotools joined forces with Physitrack. I am the person responsible for everything you see on our social media and in our newsletters. One could describe my role as a social media specialist, but I like to think of myself as a creative visioneer, spreading the Physitrack brand into the Universe.

It's been exciting to work with such a passionate and driven team that genuinely wants to provide the best tools for wellness & rehabilitation technology in the market. From the very beginning, I felt very welcomed, becoming part of the team, and I think that speaks a lot for the company itself. Every department has its own goals and workload, but we all keep pushing together in the same direction.

I've been truly amazed at how a group spread out so widely across the globe can be so united. I have not yet met my talented colleagues in person, but I already feel as if they are my second family. And that is exactly what I hope you will feel when you become part of the Physitrack family because together, everything is better.

New exercises in your exercise library

Starting this month, you will start to see Mobilus and Physiotools content (exercises and educational content) inside the Physitrack library.

Many of these new exercises will have a "line drawing" version in addition to the video, meaning that when you include these exercises in the print versions of a program, your patients will have unprecedented clarity on how to perform an exercise (and save ink while printing!).

Covid templates in Physitrack

We've recently published some Covid-19 templates based on the findings from a study run by HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, Professorship Innovation in Digital Healthcare, UMC Utrecht (Utrecht University Medical Centre), Academic workshop physiotherapy.

To use these templates, simply go to Library > Templates and search for "Covid".

We're also in the process of creating some educational PDFs to complement these exercise programs.

PROM licensing

As of last week we had to hide some PROMs from our library due to ever changing licensing rules. Unfortunately, the following PROMs are affected:

• WOMAC Osteoarthritis Index copy
• Beck Anxiety Inventory
• Brief Fatigue Inventory (BFI)
• The Disabilities of the Arm, Shoulder and Hand (DASH) Score
• The Disabilities of the Arm, Shoulder and Hand Score (QuickDash)
• Functional Rating Index MASTER
• Neck Disability Index (NDI)
• The Quebec Back Pain Disability Scale

We are working very hard on getting them licensed so we can add them back to the general library soon.

In the meantime, most PROMS licensors allow you to add a PROM yourself as you will be using the PROM in a clinical situation.

Physitrack University: Copying information into your Practice Management System

As you may know, we like to make your life as simple as possible, and thus Physitrack integrates with dozens of Practice Management Systems.

Depending on the integration, information will automatically be sent back to your Practice Management System. But in some cases, this integration is not (yet) set up. So for this month's deeper understanding of Physitrack, Marieke shares four tips on how to easily copy information from Physitrack into your Practice Management System so that you can have all the information in one place.

Physitrack recommended by The Indonesian Physio Association! 🇮🇩

The leading physiotherapy organization in Indonesia, through the general Chairman of the Association, Mr. Moh Ali Imron, SMPh, S.Sos, M.F, is giving full support for Physitrack in Indonesia.

Through a letter published by IFI in May 2021, the IFI recommends that all members in Indonesia use Physitrack as the best digital health application to help physiotherapists in compiling exercise programs for patients online and offline.

This is exciting news, considering that Physitrack only launched in Indonesia at the end of January 2021. In the future, Physitrack will continue to collaborate with IFI by providing webinars and seminars, and carrying out valuable research for advancing the physiotherapy profession in Indonesia.
